"The Prodigal Road" by Dr. Richard Miller

March 5, 2018

We have a new author in our group. Dr. Richard (Dick) Miller has written the story about his journey through the jungles of Vietnam as well as his own spiritual crash and recovery. His book, The Prodigal Road – My Journey up the Mountain, is about warfare. It is about steel bullets and fiery darts.  Take the journey with Dick as he moves through the dark swamp of PTSD—where he was hammered by the king of the swamp—and climbs the mountain of freedom where he is captured by the majestic light of the Redeemer.

Dick’s 40-year adventure in the Flint Hills of Kansas began in 1972 and included post graduate studies at K-State when he retired from the Army in 1981. Dick is one of the founders of the Flint Hills Tea Party and is an avid supporter of the “Yes For Liberty” organization. Dr. Miller was one of judges for the 2018 Constitution Bee at the K-State Alumni Center in March and held a book signing following that event.
