Frequently Asked Questions

    1. Am I eligible to win a scholarship each year I participate?

Answer: Yes.  For grades 9-11 the scholarship earnings will accrue in a separate account established by the Educational Fund, Inc. Board.

    2. What if I decide not to enroll in a post-secondary institution immediately after graduation from high school?

Answer: The scholarship amount you have been awarded will be available to you for a period not to exceed two years after graduation.  In the event of a student choosing military service immediately after high school graduation, that period of time would extend to four years.

    3. What is the event format?

Answer: The YES for Liberty Constitution Bee is performance based and similar to a spelling or geography bee.  Should you be selected as a finalist you will receive specific information about the format posted on the website.

    4. Are there any entry fees or registration fees required for the individual student or school?

Answer: No.  However, there is a minimal cost related to some study materials.  Refer to the Recommended Study Materials section.
