Questions & Answers

Q: How much will be awarded each
A: A minimum of $10,000.

Q: How much is the scholarship worth?

A: It is anticipated that the final fund
amount will insure that all finalists are awarded a scholarship. Winner
receives a minimum of $3,500.

Q: Am I eligible to win a scholarship
each year I participate?

A: Yes. Amounts will accrue each year in a separate account.

Q:When are scholarship funds

A: At the time of verified enrollment.

Q: What’s the event format?

A: Similar to a Spelling or Geography

Scholarship Timeline

2011-2012 Academic Year

1. Application is available
beginning on Constitution
Day, September 17, 2011.

2. Mail completed application
to FHTP by December 31,

3. Constitution Bee
Scholarship finalists
notified on December 9,
2011. (New Date TBD)

4. Constitution Bee will be
held on February 19, 2012
in Manhattan, Kansas.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Must be a legal resident of
the United States.

2. Must be a Kansas resident.

3. Open to all students in
grades 9-12 currently
attending public, private,
military or home school.

4. Recipient must be planning
to attend either an
accredited two or four year
public/private university or a
vocational, technical, or
trade school.
