"Hello. My name is Mariana G. I'm a senior at Williams College in Massachusetts. I'm emailing to inquire whether anyone from the Flint Hills Tea Party group would like to do an hour-long interview with me concerning immigration and immigration policy for a research project I'm conducting this summer.
I come from an extremely liberal area which means that conservative ideas are not often, or mostly ever, fully expressed. I hate that the liberal mindset right now seems to shut conservative down immediately without fully considering their perspectives. Not to mention the role the media plays in encouraging this behavior and manipulating attitudes. My project aims to bring these ideas--from liberals and conservatives alike--to light. I want to hear what people from your group think, want, and feel about immigration." |
