Republican Party announces Headquarters Opening

Message from Eileen King, Riley County Republican Chair:

Hopefully everyone has recovered from the Primary Election.   There were some upsets, but there were some uncontested races as well. Congratulations to all primary winners! Now it is time to get ready for the General Election on November 8.  We may have been on different sides for the primary and now it’s time to come together to elect as many Republicans as possible up and down the ticket.

We will be at the old Radio Shack location at 614 Ft. Riley Blvd.  We are planning the Headquarters opening on Tues. Sept. 6 at 7:30 pm.   All Republican candidates are invited to join us for the Opening and use the Headquarters for their home base.  The plans are to have it open from 3:00 to 6:00 pm each weekday.    Depending on demand, we may consider some hours on the weekends.   If you are interested working at the headquarters, please let me know. (You won’t have to deal with extreme temperatures.)  We have 3 desks, 3 long tables and several chairs.  We will have a dedicated phone line for the Republican Headquarters.  Candidates and workers are encouraged to bring their phones, laptops and/or tablets.  We could use a dorm size refrigerator, if someone could loan one to us.  

To volunteer. Call me, (Eileen King) and we’ll add you to the list.  We are planning on a surprise for the person volunteering for the most hours at headquarters.
